Jason was born and raised in Angouri Hill. His family left town to pursue other opportunites whereas he stayed to fish in the nearby river. The owner of the upstart goat ranch Galen wanted to take out Jason because he was considered competition for the protein market.

Jason showed up at the river to fish. He saw an unknown guy talking to Chloe so he talked her if the guy were bothering her. She replied no. Jason started to fish. Later, Florian showed up and peed in the river. Jason got upset and engaged in a fight against him. The fight ended with Jason losing. The next day, he was approached by Stella Orchis and Renee along with Florian. The girls asked him to stop fishing for a few days so that Galen would think that the fisherman is out. He agreed as long as Florian brings with fish in the meantime. The next day, Stella told him he can resume his life per usual.
