Lan is a minor character who debuted in Midnight Droplet where he was the one of the antagonists.
Background
Lan was born and raised in Putao Mountain. His childhood friend is Zhong. The two often hang out and eat together. He lives somewhere on the first level of the mountain. His hobby includes going the hot spring for a warm bath.

Lan met up with Zhong early in the morning for breakfast. Before the two got a chance to eat, Zhong remembered he had to go meet with Shun for a meeting. Zhong asked Lan to bring him food before leaving. Lan finished his breakfast and left with breakfast to bring to Zhong. Before going to meet up with Zhong, Lan went to the hot spring for a morning bath. Unbeknownst to him, he was being followed by Bruno. When the morning bath was done, Lan started to walk to the top of the mountain when a white Wolf came down from the top. He was confused and did not know what to do. Shun and Zhong came immediately after the white Wolf. Shun told Zhong to find the Wolf. Lan helped Zhong to do this. The chase for the white Wolf led everyone to the first level of the mountain. Shun said she was going somewhere. Lan followed Zhong to the inn to look for any recent guests. Zhong knocked on one of the doors at the inn and Stella Lily answered. Lan listened as Zhong asked Stella about the white Wolf. After this, Lan and Zhong went to the top of the mountain and entered Shun's house. At the house, they met the Jade Cat. The Jade Cat then walked outside and attacked Harold and Bruno who had just recently arrived. The attack was a Spellbomb. This caused Lan and Zhong to engage in a fight against Bruno and Harold respectively. During the fight, Shun arrived with Stella and Lily whom she herself started to fight against. The fights ended with Lan, Zhong, and Shun defeated. Harold explained the situation regarding the Jade Cat. Shun invited everyone to her house. Lan listened as Shun and Zhong answered Harold's questions. After this, Shun calmed down and invited everyone for lunch. When lunch was over, Lan watched as Bruno and his friends leave for Longyan Town.
