This section contains a plot summary of Mei's point of view from each story arc.
During the prologue, Mei and the jade-eyes young man entered Stella Lily's house and stole her self-portrait. She was expecting someone to come after her for the theft. Harold Vernon had entered her restaurant, and Mei served him his meal. She turned to walk away, but noticed that Harold had a piece of silk. He was comparing the color of silk against her uniform. Mei knew what he was up to and confronted him about it. At first, Harold claimed to not know anything, but quickly realized that it was pointless to trick Mei. When asked by Harold about a stolen painting, Mei offered him a chance to earn it by defeating her in battle. Harold hesitantly accepted and they both walked outside to prepare for the battle. Mei tried her best to win, but was easily defeated by Harold even in her Therian form. She woke up from unconsciousness and teased Harold about being a pervert. As per the offer, Mei answered Harold's questions about the stolen painting. She said the jade-eyes young man came to her about making money from a theft. The theft would be easy and she agreed. The painting is currently at the large building that sells silk. Mei led Harold to the large building. Along the way, they are joined with Bruno and later with Stella Lily and Lyla. Upon arrival, Mei was upset that the painting was stolen and apologized to Stella Lily for the theft. Fen entered the room and freaked out when he saw Stella Lily and Lyla. Mei explained the situation to him. Harold asked Mei if she had any ideas of where the jade-eyes young man might have gone. She believed the young man might have gone to the beach to the southwest. Harold and his friends stayed at an inn overnight. In the morning, she walked Harold, Stella Lily, Bruno, and Lyla to the front of Lizi Woods and bade them farewell.
