Chapter Four

Jasper instinctively tries to activate his Sura on his right wrist and then smiles. "I guess they forgot to confiscate my Dagger."

"Looks like we have to fight that guy then." Florian said. "Hopefully, none of the other policemen show up. I don't feel like getting beaten down again."

Arsenio turns to the two policemen behind him. "Don't interfere, boys! This will be easy. Just watch and learn! Then someday, you'll be just like me!"

One of the policemen frowns. "What do you mean? We're the same age as you."

Without hesitation, Arsenio runs towards Florian and Jasper. Right within talking distance of the boys, he quickly spins around and a tail with a stinger appears from his lower back. With this tail, he swings at the boys.

Florian takes the first hit and then bumps into Jasper. The attack was coated in Water Midrash. It is called Water Tail.

Arsenio looks at the two policemen. "Saw that, boys!? That's what happens when you train hard!"

One of the policemen frowns. "Didn't you get that Construct from Judge Zoe?"

Arsenio ignores the policemen and throws an upgraded Water Spellbomb called Souse Spellbomb at the boys.

Jasper sees this coming and counters by slashing it with his Dagger. He lunges towards Arsenio and tries to stab him, but is met with another Water Tail. Jasper takes the damage.

Florian coats his fists with Poison Midrash. Since Arsenio was busy dealing with Jasper, Florian uses this opportunity to attack Arsenio with Sludge Punch. The punch connects on Arsenio's left rib.

Arsenio coats his Tail with more Water Midrash and whips it at Florian. The attack was an upgraded form of Water Tail called Souse Tail.

With both fists coated in Midrash, Florian punches the tail with several Sludge Punches.

With his Tail hurt, Arsenio steps back a few steps and transforms into a giant Scorpion. In this form, he uses his pincer to grab Florian and whips him with Souse Tail.

With the Dagger in his right hand, he runs towards the Scorpion. Right when the Scorpion opens his pincer to grab Jasper, he slips away and inserts his Dagger between the pincers. Blood squirts out of the pincers when the Scorpion unknowingly squeezes the Dagger.

Florian steps onto the Scorpion's left pincer and repeatedly attacks with Sludge Punches. Not wanting to stop, the punches continued.

Without his Dagger, Jasper tosses two Dust Spellbomb at the Scorpion.

The damages from both opponents are enough to knock out the Scorpion who had begun to transform back into his human self. The battle is now over.

Jasper picks up his Dagger and deactivates it. He looks at the two policemen. "How do we leave this place?"

The known person spit out blood from the kicks that were given to him by Renee. Stella stood watch and crossed her arms underneath her breasts.

"I'm Nestor by the way!" the known person smiled at Stella. "And you look as lovely as you are deadly."

"I didn't ask for your name." Stella said. "And I don't really care."

Renee kicks Nestor again. "Stop! Just cooperate."

Nestor scoffs. "Tsk! What do you want to know?"

"Zoe," Stella began. "What can you tell us about them?"

"Zoe? She's hot and good-looking." Another kick from Renee. "Fine! She's the Judge of this town. I'm her hunter. I look for people that she wants eliminated."

Stella raises both eyebrows. "Why would she need people eliminated?"

"She was just made the Judge recently. There are people who might have a grudge against her. After she became Judge, she sent people away for any crime whether it's big or small."

"What about the jail?"

"Oh, yeah!" Nestor laughed. "Haha! Your friends are there. They won't be for long. Once they stand in front of Zoe, she'll send them to someplace far away."

"And when will that be?"

"Either today or early tomorrow."

"So," Stella said. "You're going to take my friend and me to the police station. You'll free our two friends and then tell us where we can find Zoe. Understood?"

Nestor smiles. "And what do I get in return for this?"

"Are you serious?" Renee asked. "We'll leave you alone and act as if this never happened. I typically hold grudges, you know."

"Oh, so you'll forgive me for shooting at you?"

Renee glares at Nestor. "Understood?"

"Haha! Fine, but if you mess with Zoe, you'll have to deal with her benefactor."

"Who is this benefactor?" Stella asked.

"I really don't know." Nestor shook his head. "I haven't met them yet. Zoe was only made the Judge a month or two ago. I was busy looking for anyone who might cause her harm."

Stella shrugs. "We'll deal with that later. To the police station now."

In front of the police station, Nestor opened the door. He didn't hold it open for the girls. Stella and Renee had to open the door themselves. This caused Renee to get irritated.

The receptionist looks at Nestor. "Hey, Nestor! You caught these two girls?"

"No, I'm here to see if there are two guys that have recently been arrested. Do you know if they're here?"

"Don't care." the receptionist said and tried to take a nap.

Before Nestor gets a chance to say anything, the door on the right swings open. Arsenio comes out that door and he looks really mad.

"Nestor?" Arsenio asked. "Tsk! Never mind! I don't have time for this. Just lock up anyone that you have caught." He walks out the door.

The receptionist explains that the two guys beat up Arsenio and ran out the door.

Nestor looks at Stella. "What now? It looks like your friends have left. Didn't see that coming, did you?"

Not wanting to be overheard, Stella and Renee lead Nestor back outside.

"You can go now, but tell us where we can find Zoe." Stella said.

Nestor points at the building surrounded by four pillars. "See that? It's the town court. She'll be there tomorrow around ten. You didn't hear this from me, got it?" He begins to walk away but stops and looks at the girls. "Remember that police that just left? That's Arsenio. He'll be looking for your friends. If he does find them, I'm not getting involved again."
