Dawn Blossom

Chapter One

Late at night around one or two in the morning, two people are seen trying to break into a two-story house. The young man unlocks the backdoor of the house. The two thieves enter the house and go upstairs to search the rooms. As soon as they both entered the room, they found what they were looking for. A painting of a beautiful young woman with saffron-colored eyes and light blonde hair.

Enter Stella Lily Aron, an 18 years old who stands at five feet and seven inches. She has saffron-colored eyes and light blonde hair. Stella, her twin sister, and her mom return from a weekend trip.

"Where's my picture!?" Stella said aloud, surprised and shocked.

"What picture? No one painted during the trip." replied her sister.

"I meant my self-portrait. It's gone!"

Mom shows up from downstairs. "What's going on here?"

"Lily's self-portrait is gone..." answered the twin sister.

"What!? If it's not there, then someone must have broken into our home and stole it." said Mom.

All three ladies search every door in the house to look for clues. The only clue found is a turquoise-colored silk.

"I'll ask Harold if he knows anything." said Stella.

Stella leaves town and goes to Thistle Village. She wears a white minidress that goes to her knees and light brown boots above the ankle.

Harold's house is at the edge of the village. Stella walks to the front door and knocks. A girl with light brown hair and blue eyes opens the door. She is about five feet three inches and wears a yellow top with jeans shorts and white slip-on shoes.

"Oh Lily! Hi! What are you doing here?" asked the girl.

"Hi Lyla! I'm here for Harold. I want to ask him about something." said Stella.

"Harold! Lily's here for you!" yelled Lyla as she turned around from the door. Now enters Harold Vernon. Five feet eight inches, light brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a green shirt, white shorts and Converse shoes.

"Hey Lily! What's up?" said Harold.

"I have something to show and ask you." replied Stella.

Stella told the story about her self-portrait being stolen and about the turquoise piece of silk to Harold.

"Hmmm... Only one place I know that produces silk. That's Lizi Woods." said Harold.

"I would like my portrait back. Do you think you can help me?" asked Stella.

Harold smiles. "Anything for you, Lily. It's late now. Let's start tomorrow morning."

The next morning, Stella woke up first. She couldn't sleep much knowing that her portrait was stolen. Harold was next to wake up and finally Lyla.

"Let's go get Bruno and we'll go to Lizi Woods," said Harold.

Bruno is the paternal cousin of Harold and Lyla. He gets along well with Harold and the two are more like brothers than cousins.

The trio make their way to Bruno's house which is down the street. Now enters Bruno. Blonde, blue eyes and six feet tall. He wears a blue shirt with jeans and black Converse shoes and has a body that is built like an athlete.

Harold explains the situation and Bruno agrees since he gets to fight people. With that said, Stella along with Harold, Lyla, and Bruno head for Lizi Woods.

At the center of Lizi Woods is a village full of plum trees and houses made out of straws and woods. A river divides the village into two sections: west and east. Stella and her friends enter from the west side.

"This is it! Lizi Woods." said Harold.

"Looks very different from home." said Stella.

"What are we doing here again?" asked Bruno.

"Weren't you listening yesterday, Bruno?" asked Lyla without answering.

"All I heard was we get to beat up people." responded Bruno.

"Well, what's the plan, Harold?" asked Stella.

Harold clears his throat. "We need some information before we do anything. Bruno and I will take care of that."

"But first let's get something to eat. I'm hungry." said Stella.

"Alright. Let's see if there's any cafe or food vendors nearby." suggested Harold.

Stella looks around the village and sees a vendor selling noodles and juice.

"There's one!" said Stella, nodding towards the vendor. The vendor is a middle-aged man with a bald spot at the top of his head.

"What food is that?" asked Lyla with a confused look on her face.

"I don't know, but I want to try it out." said Stella and giggled.

"Lily, if they have your portrait, then they'll recognize you. That's why only Bruno and I will go. In the meantime, you and Lyla can walk around or whatever." said Harold. "Why don't you and Lyla go find an inn before you do anything? Two rooms."

"Sure!" responded Stella.

Harold and Bruno start by looking for a store that sells silk. Stella and Lyla start to look for an inn.

Harold and Bruno walk to the eastern side of the woods. There is a building that stands out from the rest of the village. This is because it is the largest building around.

As Harold and Bruno walk inside, a young man with jade-colored eyes walks out.

Upon entering the building, the first thing that catches their eyes is the abundance of silk on display.

"Looks like we found what we're looking for." said Bruno.

The jade-eyed guy turns to Harold and Bruno and can be seen going back upstairs.

Inside the store, Harold walks around and sees a turquoise dress. He then goes to the receptionist. When the receptionist asks for payment, Harold asks her if she knows anyone who likes this color and she answers a girl in a restaurant. With this information, he goes back outside to meet up with Bruno to explain his plan to find a restaurant.

The same jade-eyed guy from before can be seen walking outside holding something wrapped in a white clothing.

"Bruno, why don't you follow that guy?" suggested Harold. "See if you can find out what he's carrying. It might be nothing but I'm curious."

Bruno nods his head in agreement.
