Dawn Blossom

Chapter Three

Stella had already tried four different dresses. She tried on a blue one, followed by a red one, then a white one and finally a black one. Only fifteen minutes have passed, but to the spiky hair guy, it seemed like forever.

"Which one do you like best?" asked Lyla.

"I'm thinking about the white one." answered Stella. "There's no price tag here."

"No? Maybe it's the same price for all dresses?" Lyla said.

Stella also looks around to see if there is any sign of a price tag. At this time, the spiky hair guy is getting irritated and pacing back and forth.

"Let's just ask someone who works here." suggested Stella.

"Okay, then." said Lyla as she looked around for someone who works in this building. Both girls walk around for about five minutes looking for a receptionist.

"Hi! How can I help you?" asked the receptionist.

"How much for this dress?" asked Stella.

The receptionist told Stella the price. Stella and Lyla are shocked the silk dress is so expensive. Stella didn't bring enough money to buy something this expensive.

"I don't have enough now. I'll back it for now." said Stella. She turns to Lyla and they both begin to leave the building.

The spiky-haired guy is so mad right now and continues to follow the girls.

Bruno just got done beating up the shirtless guy. The shirtless had almost fully recovered from the beating by Bruno. He is sitting on his sofa while Bruno remains standing.

"Alright, buddy! The guy who entered your home earlier, what did he say about me?" asked Bruno.

"Tsk! It's Chen not buddy." said the shirtless guy irritably. "He knew you were following him and that you were after the painting."

"Hmmm... That's funny because I was trying to find a thief who stole a painting of my friend's." said Bruno. "What else?"

"That's it!" replied Chen.

"Who was that guy?" asked Bruno. No response from Chen. "Do you want me to blow up your home?"

Chen is thinking. "I don't know his name, but he worked with my friend to steal a painting a few days ago."

"Painting?" asked Bruno. "Where is it now?"

"Probably here in this cloth," said Chen as he pointed to the cloth on his table.

Bruno opens the white cloth, and it reveals an empty frame. "Nothing! I don't get it."

"I don't either. Why would he carry an empty frame?" said Chen.

"And why would he leave it here?" said Bruno. "Last thing, who is this friend of yours?"

"......She works in a restaurant around here." said Chen hesitantly. "The one with a turquoise roof."

The interrogation is done. Bruno leaves to look for a restaurant with a turquoise-colored roof.

Harold had been waiting for his meal to arrive for twenty minutes now. Finally, a waitress came out with his meal. This waitress isn't the same one from earlier. This one is different. She is wearing a turquoise-colored uniform which was a long-sleeved button silk shirt. She is pretty cute. Her height is five feet two inches. Her hair is straight, dark, and long down to her lower back. The color of her eyes is turquoise. The age seems to be around 25 years.

Harold pulls out the piece of clothing and will match this with the color of the waitress's uniform.

"There are you!" said the cute waitress as she laid the plate of duck on the table. The waitress turns around and Harold holds up the piece of clothing next to the waitress's shirt. She quickly turns back to face Harold with a smirk on her face. "Guess you found what you're looking for, huh. That was fast!"

"Quick? Oh, yeah, the food was pretty quick." Harold said.

The cute waitress frowns. "Don't play me for a fool. I know what you're up to."

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean."

"I know you're trying to match that piece of silk with my uniform."

"And why would I be doing that?" asked Harold.

"You tell me." said the waitress.

Harold sighs. "Fine, do you have the painting or not?"

"Haha! Maybe... Maybe not..." the waitress laughed. "If you want to find out, you'll have to catch me." She drops his meal onto the table and skips to the front door. As soon as she reached the door, one of the other waitresses called out to her by the name of Mei.

Harold leaves the food at the table and goes after Mei.

Stella and Lyla are leaving the large building. The spiky-haired guy is irritated that he had to go through the ordeal of following and watching the girls.

"It's been a few hours. Are you hungry?" Stella asked.

"Yeah, I'm hungry." answered Lyla.

"Hihi! Shopping does that." Stella giggled. "Let's go eat somewhere!"

The two girls leave the large building and make their way towards the bridge. Stella looks around the woods and sees the spiky-haired guy shaking his head in irritation.

"Hey, Lyla! You think that guy has anger issues?" asked Stella.

"Looks like it. Wonder what he's mad about." said Lyla.

"Let's walk away and pretend we didn't see anything."

Both girls turn their heads away from the direction of the spiky-haired guy and walk toward the bridge.

Stella notices the spiky hair guy is still following them. "He's coming towards us..."

"Is he that mad?" Lyla asked.

"Maybe..." Stella whispered. "Let's hurry."

The spiky-haired guy is closer now. Stella and Lyla also increase their walking speed. The girls arrived at the bridge with the guy directly behind them.

"Something funny!?" asked the spiky-haired guy from behind.

Stella and Lyla stop for a second and continue walking.

"Hello!?" asked the spiky-haired guy more irritably. "Don't walk away from me!"

"Anger issue. Haha..." Stella said and accidentally laughed out loud.

"How dare you laugh at me!?" yelled the spiky-haired guy. Getting so mad, the guy throws a Wood Spellbomb at the girls.
